Location in the Langenbeck Virchow House

Built in 1915, the Langenbeck-Virchow House was reopened on 1 October 2005 following complete restoration and modernization.

The following rooms and facilities are available for meetings and congresses:

Auditorium
The restoration works restored the historic auditorium to its original 1915 state. The ceiling frescoes depicting scenes from Greek mythology have been successively preserved. Five hundred seats on the parterre and in the gallery can now be used for meetings and other events. The auditorium is fitted with the very latest technical equipment, including state of the art media technology for live transmissions of national and international events.

Foyer
The spacious foyer can be used for many different purposes – the ideal setting for everything from coffee breaks to evening events.

Our in-house caterer will take care of the gastronomic arrangements for your event.

Conference and seminar rooms
The Langenbeck-Virchow House also offers excellent possibilities for smaller scale events. Our two seminar rooms are fully equipped technically and can accommodate various sized groups:

  • “Bernhard von Langenbeck“ seminar room (approx. 50-90 people)

  • “Rudolf Virchow“ conference room (approx. 30-60 people)

These numbers can also be varied according to the seating arrangements required.

If necessary and subject to availability, further seminar rooms can be rented from the Aesculap Akademie GmbH facilities within the Langenbeck-Virchow House.

Wir würden uns freuen, Sie in unserem Hause begrüßen zu dürfen.

We would be delighted to welcome you into our House:
